C4 Random Acts - First Acts

From 2011-18 the Arts Council partnered with Channel 4 to commission and support hundreds of short films by artists

to be shown as ‘bold expressions of creativity’ on the Random Acts strand on TV and online.

Random Acts: First Acts offers 16-24 year old creatives, working in any field, the opportunity to make an original short film

as part of an education, training and production programme funded by Arts Council England.

I had the privilege to work with these creative individuals to bring their ideas of paper and onto the screen,

usually shot in one day with a minimal core crew of myself and a producer.
